Working out of the box? I do not think so...

I was very excited to download this VM appliance to take it for a spin to see what it has to offer. However, making Zimbra to work (at least in this version) is like performing a "Voodoo" ritual in hopes it does. The section in "Overview" on how to use it and configure is the best testament to what is wrong here: "The Virtual Appliance is configured for the test domain ‘mydomain.com,’ which you will need to change. For more details about this, please see this page. You will need to make these changes using the VMware console or using SSH." So, I was looking and looking on how to configure it only to find nothing. It did not say what config file to modify or what to look for. In essence, what I ended up with was a VM machine running "Linux Zimbra" flavor (like I need one more distribution) without Zimbra application actually running. Good try, Zimbra folks, but no cigar. Please, write up better configuration instruction next time.
